Matt Oliver is married to Nancy and dad to their three children.

He is a church pastor in the North east of England. He loves telling people about Jesus and preaching from the bible. He admits that he's not the greatest when it comes to reading - English was his most hated subject at school and he rarely reads fiction. But he does know that all creative things, like stories, lead back to Jesus - sometimes you just have to look hard to find them.

He's a massive Sunderland football fan, holding Two season tickets - one for himself and one for whichever of his children he can persuade to go with him.

 

He is the reluctant owner of a dog and two ducks.
